Practicing the hunt

Castle Hills is sponsoring another community Easter Egg hunt by the lake this year. They let the 0 - 4 year olds go first in a special area and although the 2 - 4 year olds are probably going to be much faster, we got Connor a special little basket and will let him (help him) join in the fun. We've practiced "hunting" a couple of times in the yard. He did great at first and would go from egg to egg placing them in the basket. But once he figured out how to open the plastic eggs, he became distracted with trying to put them back together. He also figured out that some of them had treats (Goldfish) in them, so he would crack them open right away, eat the Goldfish and then try to put it back together. We didn't get very far after that. :)
