Well, it's officially Spring and this week has been beautiful outside. We've gone for walks in the wagon after work almost every day and today we played outside. Connor walked down the sidewalk on his own for the first time and, of course stopped along the way to touch, feel, pick up and try to eat almost everything. We had taken a few of his favorite small toys out, but he had no interest in them once he realized he was not confined like he is in the wagon. At one point he started collecting twigs. It was cute because he gathered them and kept walking along looking for more. He felt the dirt, rocks, leaves and grass. Later we went out in the back yard and took his 4-wheeler. He's been on it inside and has recently figured out that the red button makes it go. At first he wasn't too interested in riding because the back yard is relatively new territory for him so there was a lot to look at. So Daddy pushed him around for a while and he finally decided to give it a whirl on his own. I'm sure we'll be chasing him around the back yard soon.
Watch Connor ride.
