Our first night away

Our first anniversary was just 12 days after Connor was born. I don't think I would have left Connor for any other reason, but this was a special night. We didn't go far...but went to eat at Kal Bee. This restaurant used to be a quaint little Italian restaurant that we thought of as "our" place. It was close to the house and we went to it as Lugano's right after it opened. They always recognized us and the ambiance was always just right. We ended up having our family/rehearsal dinner there and a few months later it closed and reopened as a Korean restaurant. It took me a couple of months to get past the change, but we've eaten there a few times now and still consider it "our" place. We look forward to trying it as a Mexican restaurant someday. :) The dinner was good and I didn't worry at all about Connor because Mom and Dad were watching him, so we were able to enjoy our anniversary.
