Connor went to the doctor last week for his 6 month visit. He is now 17 lbs 7 oz and 26 1/8 inches long. His ear infection is gone and his thrush, which probably was the result of the antibiotics he took for his ear infection, are nearly gone. So by and large he is a healthy boy -- happy and energetic. Frequently, during diaper changes, and while he plays in his play nest, he will talk (or at least make noises like he's trying to talk). Lately, this "talk" is being replaced by yells, shrieks and screams. Not to worry, he seems happy -- not angry or upset. So he yells sort of like Tarzan or King Kong. He's going to be a loud boy :-)

So with his clean bill of health, we began feeding him sweet potatoes. I'm sure he initially expected it to be rice cereal, which we have been feeding him for several weeks. But after he got used to it, he seemed to enjoy the taste. One time he even blew the sweet potatoes back in my face and all over my shirt. I'd like to think it's because he likes me. :-)
